    Jayawant Shikshan Prasarak Mandal (JSPM)

    Jayawant Shikshan Prasarak Mandal (JSPM) was established in 1998 with the objective of creating centers of excellence for education in the field of Engineering, Medical, Pharmacy, Management, computers etc. This is by the vision of Prof. T.J.Sawant, an Electrical Engineer who thinks that, “Development of Techno – entrepreneurial society” is the key to achieve VISION 2020 as perceived by our Former PRESIDENT of India Dr. Abdul Kalam Prof. Sawant is strongly convinced that establishment of excellent technical institutions is the solution to the problem of development of techno-economic society. Driven by a mission of providing an excellent quality education JSPM’s society has left no stone unturned in setting up Educational Institutes in Pune.

Dear Students,

Jayawant Shikshan Prasarak Mandal (JSPM) and The Shetkari Shikshan Mandal Sangli, Pune (TSSM) have been established with the objective of creating centres of excellence for education in the field of Engineering, Medical, Pharmacy, Management, and Computing. We visualise that a social transformation can be brought about through the medium of dynamic education. JSPM and TSSM are thus institutions of higher education with social commitment.

With India & Indians, emerging as leaders across various professional sectors, it becomes an even greater challenge for the education sector to nurture and groom such abundant talent, which is all set to take industry’s quest for excellence to dazzling new heights. It is in this same spirit of excellence, that we at JSPM have laid each brick.

We have created a learning culture, a friendly environment that facilitates complete development of our students. Inception of JSPM

Prof. Dr. T. J. Sawant, is a person with lot of ambitions, with capacity to achieve them. In 1998, he initiated the formation of public charitable trust “Jayawant Shikshan Prasarak Mandal”, with a vision to establish quality educational institutes in Pune.

Dreams Come True Moment

At the Inception, the college got permission for 150 students only. It was the dream of Prof. Dr. T. J. Sawant to see that the college gets best results from the first batch, in University of Pune. Many new and innovative methods were implemented to achieve the academic excellence.The dream came true and in the year 2013 the college achieved the award from University of Pune as “Best Professional College”. The college received National Board of Accreditation certificate for creating best academic and infrastructural facilities.
